Track cycling: home win at the Six Day Berlin! The German duo Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt secured overall victory with a furious attack on the last day of the Berlin six-day race. In the final chase, the reigning Madison World Champions managed to win a round with 13 rounds to go. Yesterday's leading defending champion Wim Stroetinga even flew off the podium with his partner Robbe Ghys. Maximilian Levy in the sprinters and Franz Schiewer in the stayers were able to defend their titles.

It still worked! After falling behind yesterday, Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt hit back on the final day of Six Day Berlin. Wim Stroetinga from the Netherlands and Robbe Ghys from Belgium, who were leading before the final hunt, on the other hand, flew back from #1 to #4. The 108th Berlin Six-Day Race was decided with 13 laps to go when the German duo launched an inimitable attack. Despite being twelve points behind, they stayed ahead of Denmark's Marc Hester and Jesper Mørkøv. The Austrians Andreas Graf and Andreas Müller can be satisfied with third place.

Maximilian Levy continues his winning streak at the Six Day Berlin
Maximilian Levy has won the Six Day Berlin sprint competition for the eighth time. With 273 points, the man from Cottbus was able to assert himself ahead of the two Russians Denis Dmitriev (233) and Shane Perkins (211). On the last day in the Berlin Velodrom, the German was able to celebrate victories in the 250 meter time trial and in the sprint. Both times he narrowly defeated Denis Dmitriev. In the keirin, Shane Perkins' victory was only enough for fourth place.

Franz Schiewer defends his title at the Six Day Berlin
Double European champion Franz Schiewer was able to defend his title in the stayers, as was Maximilian Levy in the sprinters. With pacemaker Gerd Gessler, he won the second stage ahead of Dutchman Reinier Honig and German Daniel Harnisch. Based on yesterday's results, all three pros should have the same number of points, but the times ultimately spoke for the defending champion.
