Track cycling: dominance at the Six Day Berlin. While Maximilian Levy continues to dominate the sprint competitions, the two Danes Trine Schmidt and Julie Leth leave nothing to chance in the women's category. It's more exciting for the men: After day #2, two teams are still together in the zero round. Five opponents are lurking behind them.
Denmark and Austria take the lead
Change of leadership at Six Day Berlin. On the second day of the six-day race, eight teams in the clear round became two. The Danes Marc Hester and Jesper Mørkøv won the second hunt ahead of the Austrians Andreas Graf and Andreas Müller. In the overall standings, these two duos are now in the first two places, with the Danes with 161 points clearly ahead of the Austrians with 130 points. Five teams are one lap behind. The Germans Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt – who went to bed in the lead yesterday – are not far behind with 158 points.
Something else for the home fans to cheer as @clever_roger streaks clear for a comfortable derny victory!

Again Levy dominates in the sprint and Schmidt/Leth in the women's category
There is nothing new to report for the sprinters and women. As on the day before, the competitions were dominated by the same protagonists on Day #2. Maximilian Levy won the 250 meter time trial as well as the sprint and the team sprint. Only in the keirin was another professional able to celebrate: Anton Höhne thus improved to third place in the overall ranking with 70 points. He is now behind the Russian Denis Dmitriev (77) and Maximilian Levy (98), who is clearly in the lead. The women's duo Trine Schmidt and Julie Leth are similarly dominant. The two Danes won both the team elimination and the Madison. Trine Schmidt now leads the overall standings with 190 points ahead of her compatriot Julie Leth (182). Behind them there is a bigger gap to the French Pascale Jeuland (150). The best German is still Lea Lin Teutenberg (88) in twelfth place.
