cycling: Conway Factory Racing Team with X-Sight: New XC Worldcup Team

4 January 2019 by Michael Faiss

MTB News: Contrary to the current climate, in which more and more manufacturers are withdrawing from active MTB cycling, Conway is even increasing its commitment for the 2019 season. The brand belonging to Hartje had previously supported a junior team with the Conway Triple2 Team and now they are even daring to jump into the XC World Cup with the Conway Factory Racing Team with X-Sight.

A nice sign for MTB cycling - with the Conway Factory Racing Team with X-Sight, a new team will be taking part in the national and international competitions of the XC circus in 2019. The manufacturer based in Weiden had previously occupied the Conway Triple2 Team together with the Bertolt Brecht Elite School of Sports in Nuremberg. With Emma Blömeke, Cherie Redecker, Nina Benz and Silas Graf, four of the previous drivers will also be part of the new team - Sunny Angelina Geschwender, who is also part of the 2019 national squad, will also be strengthened.

In recent years, we have staffed the CONWAY Triple2 Team with the Bertolt Brecht Elite School of Sports from Nuremberg. Now we are excited to go a step further and, with the CONWAY Factory Racing Team with X-Sight, not only support a second team but also venture into the XC World Cup.[/testimonial]

With the new team around the two team managers Thomas Schröder and Alexander Esch, all age groups from U19 to Elite will be covered. The boys and girls will be riding the Conway RLC Carbon, which was newly developed for 2019. Other team sponsors include Sram, Schwalbe, Controltech, Fulcrum, Contec Parts, KMC, Vittoria Shoes and Helmets, PSM3 Medienfabrik, Eisenmenger und Partner, Sponser Sportfood, Pactimo, Squirt and “Individual von X-Sight”.
