Product news: The American mountain bike manufacturer Santa Cruz presents its new Santa Cruz V10 29er. But it doesn't just stay with the 29er - the V10 will also be available in the 27,5 inch version, since this wheel size does not suit every driver and every driving style. In addition, you now offer the well-known Santa Cruz Reserve wheelset as a DH version.
Santa Cruz V10 2019 – 29 and 27,5 inches:
After two years of development, the time has finally come, the new V10 is in the starting boxes and that in a double pack! While Santa Cruz, in cooperation with the Syndicate, developed the race version in 29″, it became increasingly obvious that this wheel size does not suit every driver and every driving style, which is why the new V10 also comes in 27,5″. Of course, these are two completely independent development projects with correspondingly individual characteristics, but both variants received the blessing of the professionals from the Syndicate.
In the 29 inch version, the frame is available in M, L and XL. The 27,5 version is only available in S, M and L. Both wheel sizes are available in the Santa Cruz V10 DH XO1 and Santa Cruz V10 DH S configurations. All models use Sram brakes, each with 200 mm brake discs and Sram gears. When it comes to the chassis, Santa Cruz trusts the manufacturers of Fox Suspension.
The chainstays of the V10 are adjustable to achieve a perfect balance between front and rear. Thanks to an even lower leverage of the VPP rear triangle, the damper performance could be further improved.

Santa Cruz Reserve DH:
The Santa Cruz Reserve DH wheelset also originated from the Downhill World Cup. Virtually indestructible and secured with a lifetime warranty should the worst come to the worst, it gets the last tenths of a second on the track and hits the sweet spot between durability, weight, stiffness and reliable feedback. In the Reserve DH wheels, the in-house carbon rims rotate, with Syndicate-selected Chris King hubs. The wheel set and the reserve rims are only available in the aftermarket.
