The young company has been developing retrofit electric drives for bicycles for five years now. In September 2015, the Zwickau-based company launched the Pendix eDrive. The system, which is available with two battery variants (300 Wh / 500 Wh), offers the user three different modes, 50 Newton meters of torque and a maximum pedal assistance of 200%. The drive was designed in such a way that it can be mounted on all frame models and bicycle types with a standard design and bottom bracket with a standard BSA 68 mm / 73 mm thread. From now on, end customers can officially order their retrofit drive for bicycles online via Pendix.
