For many bikers, Evoc has been the benchmark for trail-ready backpacks for years. The boys and girls from Munich would like to live up to this reputation in the future and presented the Neo, a completely newly developed protector backpack, which will be available in stores from March 2019.
The star of the new backpack is called Airshield: This means the back system including the integrated protector. At Evoc, the decision was made to move the protector in the Neo to the area outside of the backpack - so it sits closer to the body parts to be protected. The characteristic grid structure is designed to ensure good ventilation even during long journeys. The protector itself is also new: It consists of a specially developed elastomer that absorbs impacts by up to 95% and "recovers" immediately after the impact. That means: Even after a crash, it retains its effectiveness and does not have to be replaced.
Like other top backpacks in the Evoc portfolio, the Neo is available in two sizes for different heights. This not only ensures a good fit, but also extensive protection of the back by the protector. Inside the backpack there is 16L space for longer trips, and a 3L hydration bladder can be stowed away. The tool compartment allows quick access and good order, while the mesh net on the front allows the helmet to be securely attached.
As part of our 2018 advent calendar, we are giving away an Evoc Neo 16 – even before it is officially available in stores. The backpack is expected to get to its new owner at the beginning of 2019, but in any case before the official start of sales in March!
