Market: Starting next month, ACS Vertrieb GmbH will take over the distribution of PowerDot in Germany and Austria. The young Californian brand PowerDot became known for its EMS Stims, which can be controlled via smartphone. The launch also brings a new generation of devices onto the market. The Compex brand, for which ACS has previously worked, will take over sales in Germany itself from November.

ACS Vertrieb GmbH, based in Braunschweig, will be the exclusive distributor for PowerDot in Germany and Austria from November. This means that ACS will remain loyal to the EMS segment after ten years, despite the discontinuation of sales of the Compex brand. With the young company PowerDot, the Braunschweig-based company, which is also responsible for the distribution of Squeezy, Katusha and Rotor, is freshly positioned in this area. In line with the launch, PowerDot will launch the second version (Generation 2.0) of its EMS Stims. The app, developed on Android and iOS, runs on any smartphone or tablet. Two sets are offered by PowerDot, whereby the UNO set with two stims can be upgraded at any time to a DUO with four stims - this allows the user to electrically stimulate two muscle groups at the same time. According to the manufacturer, the PowerDots' battery lasts 20 hours and is charged using a standard smartphone charger. With the new generation of devices, buyers can also look forward to a significant price reduction. The DUO set, for example, will only cost EUR 499,00 instead of EUR 299,00.
