Testing: 100% ACCURI - The enduro and downhill goggle for everyone

September 5, 2018 by the editorial office

Test: Originated from the American motocross sport, 100% has stood for uncompromising design and quality since it was founded in the 1980s. Since then, the outfitter's well-known logo has adorned the racing equipment of the largest factory teams in the American motocross scene. For more than 30 years, the drive has been the question "How much effort do you give?", the answer "100%".

100% ACCURI: Best performance at a good price

The 100% Accuri is available in different models and an even larger selection of colours. In addition, depending on the model and color, you can choose between two glass variants. We tested the classic version in Reflex Blue. In addition to this, there is the Accuri OTG (Over The Glass), which is said to be ideal for people who wear glasses, the Accuri Sand with special glazing for trips in sand and desert, the Accuri Enduro MTB with a special anti-fog coating and too good Lastly, the Accuri Forecast Film System with an improved glass cleaning system.

Our 100% Accuri Reflex Blu came with two easy-to-change lenses. On the one hand with a slightly blue coated lens, on the other hand a clear glass pane for cloudy and wet days. Thanks to an anti-slip strip on the inside of the flexible goggle strap, it always stays in the right place, and the width can also be easily adjusted to the respective helmet.

100% ACCURI: Fits perfectly

We tested two different helmets, the BELL Super 2R both with and without a chin guard and the UVEX Finale Enduro helmet. In both cases, the grip band worked really well and the shape of the goggles fits perfectly with the tested helmets. Thanks to the slim and flexible frame, the goggle adapts well to different face shapes and is comfortable thanks to the soft padding. Despite the extensive ventilation, the goggle is a bit warm, especially in high temperatures and you start to sweat quickly.

The glass can be changed quickly and easily depending on the visibility, but the blue-coated pane did not get too dark even in poor light conditions. In addition, a tear-off foil can be attached to the discs to ensure a clear view even on extremely muddy days. The field of view is also large enough to see everything on the trail well, and there are no distortions at the edge of the field of view.
