Product news / video: That sounds like driving fun! Equipped with a MultiTrac platform, aggressive Enduro geometry and 160/150 mm travel, the new 29" Marin Alpine Trail Bike seems to lust after demanding slopes. What sounds great in theory, EWS U21 World Champion Martha Gill knows how to put into practice perfectly. In the video, the talented Brit shows what she means by Big Mountain Adventure with the Long-Travel MultiTrac Bike - and that looks like a lot of fun!

For maximum performance uphill and downhill, Marin has given the proven MultiTrac system an extra spring travel. The heart of the suspension is the one-piece forged rocker link. The Alpine Trail is based on a Series 4 aluminum frame with internal cable routing. The modern geometry is also reflected in the data sheet: the steering angle is 65°, the seat angle is around 76°, depending on the frame size, and the chainstay length is specified as 430 mm. The Marin is available in two versions and four sizes. The price for the Alpine Trail 8 with Fox 36 Performance fork, Fox Float DPX2 Performance damper and 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle gears is 3599,00 euros, the Alpine Trail 7 with RockShox Yari RC fork, X-Fusion 02Pro RXC damper and 11 -speed Shimano SLX gears are available for 2699,00 euros.
