Cycling: The Quick-Step Floors team can celebrate again. Fabio Jakobsen (Quick-Step Floors) won the Danilith Nokere Koerse one-day race today. The Dutchman defeated the Belgian Amaury Capiot (Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise) and the Frenchman Hugo Hofstetter (Cofidis) in the sprint of a larger group.

Pascal Ackermann could hope for a long time
For a long time it looked as if a larger group could prevail in front of the peloton. Also present: Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe). The German sprinter was able to break away with numerous colleagues and extend his lead, while the helpers in the peloton just looked at each other. The pros then agreed in good time to end the breakaway attempt ten kilometers before the finish line. In the Belgian one-day race, after 191 kilometers from Deinze to Nokere, a larger group sprinted.
Thanks to Fabio Jakobsen: Quick-Step Floors is celebrating again
There were still a few attacks and speed increases in the last ten kilometers, but no pros were really able to break free. The increased speed only ensured that more and more drivers fell out of the rear and in the end only around 30 men were able to sprint for victory. Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe) was the first to put his nose into the wind, but the German was far too KO'd from his break away attempt to sustain that attempt. Fabio Jakobsen (Quick-Step Floors) passed on the inside lane and confidently secured the win. Amaury Capiot (Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise) finished second ahead of Hugo Hofstetter.
¡Triunfo para Fabio Jakobsen en la #NokereKoerse en una legada spectacular!
