Product news: Berlin Bicycle Show 2018: Impressions from Day #1

March 24, 2018 by Michael Faiss

Product News / Spectrum: Bike Shows Suck. This tongue-in-cheek slogan is emblazoned on one of the exhibition stands right at the entrance to the Berlin Bicycle Show 2018. Our impressions from the first day show that this striking slogan hardly applies to the iconic bicycle fair in the heart of Kreuzberg.

Of course, this year we will again be guests in the capital at the Berlin Bicycle Show.
... up to exotic shapes like here at Urwahn.
Once again there are many special, niche bikes to see here. From more classic shapes like Festka…

One of our highlights so far: The Bididu Cycles Ragnarök.
For retro, classic and youngtimer fans, there are plenty of delicacies to discover at Station Berlin again this year.
At the Veloheld Dresdner booth, our eyes caught the impeller with the wonderfully memorable name ROCKET. Not least thanks to the eye-catching paintwork...
Speaking of paintwork: There are plenty of unusual designs to be discovered at this year's Fahrradschau.

Not necessarily ready to drive - but this art project, which was inspired by end-of-the-time films such as Mad Max or Waterworld, is all the more impressive.
Lovers of extravagant manufacturers and products also get their money's worth when it comes to components. Whether it's the spokeless carbon wheels from Spengle...
... or the aluminum milling art of the British from Hope. Here you can discover the entire spectrum again.
HELL YEAH! Right at the entrance, the fingerscrossed stand puts visitors in the right mood.

The FLickeN mechanic collective shows and sells unusual works of art and lamps.
... looks good on every bike freak desk!
