Cycling: The 2018 season is already in full swing. Nevertheless, several professional cyclists are still without a contract. At least two of them can now look forward to a new team: Janez Brajkovic has signed with Adria Mobil, and Daniel Teklehaimanot with Cofidis.
Brajkovic to Adria Mobil
While neither of them found a WorldTour team, they can at least continue their careers in 2018. Daniel Teklehaimanot rode for Dimension Data last year, but was not retained, just like Janez Brajkovic by Bahrain-Merida. For a long time, it looked as if they might even have to end their careers, but now there's good news. Janez Brajkovic has found a new team in Adria Mobil. The Slovenian Continental team currently has twelve riders under contract and will only be able to participate in a few well-known races.

Teklehaimanot to Cofidis
Daniel Teklehaimanot fared somewhat better . The Eritrean rider wore the King of the Mountains jersey at the 2015 Tour de France and is known for his breakaway attempts. This makes him a perfect fit for the French team Cofidis. The Pro Continental team received a wildcard for the 2018 Tour de France. Perhaps we'll see him in the polka dot jersey again soon…
