cycling: Transfer carousel: Brajkovic & Teklehaimanot have found new teams

2. February 2018 by Michael Behringer

Teklehaimanot Brajkovic

Cycling: The 2018 season is already in full swing. Nevertheless are still some professionals without a contract. At least two of them can now look forward to a new team: Janez Brajkovic has signed with Adria Mobil, Daniel Teklehaimanot with Cofidis.

Brajkovic to Adria Mobil

The two have not found a team from the WorldTour, but at least they can continue to practice their profession in 2018. Daniel Teklehaimanot was still driving for Dimension Data last year but was not hired, nor was Bahrain-Merida's Janez Brajkovic. For a long time it looked like they might even have to end their careers, but now the good news. Janez Brajkovic has found a new team in Adria Mobil. The Slovenian Continental Team currently has twelve drivers under contract and will only be able to take part in a few well-known races.

Teklehaimanot to Cofidis

It got a little better Daniel Teklehaimanot. The Eritrean man wore the 2015 Tour de France mountain jersey and is known for his breakaway attempts. This makes him a perfect match for the French team Cofidis. The Pro Continental Team received a wildcard for the 2018 Tour of France. So maybe we'll see him back in the Dotted soon...

Thanks so much for your support #trust https://t.co/6Ys5DYgDwp
