Cycling: Lucas Carstensen from Team Bike Aid will ride through Gabon in the yellow jersey on today's third stage. The 23-year-old from Hamburg sprinted to #3 yesterday - and thus defended his overall lead.

On Monday Lucas Carstensen (Bike Aid) took part in the first stage the Tour Tropicale Amissa Bongo in Gabon celebrated the greatest success of his career. He wasn't able to repeat this triumph yesterday, but he was able to successfully defend the leader's jersey. When Brenton Jones (Delko-Marseille Provence KTM) won, he sprinted to #3 behind Luca Pacioni (Wilier Triestina-Selle Italia). By collecting bonus seconds again, he is now three seconds ahead of the day's winner Brenton Jones in the overall standings - and is therefore still wearing the yellow jersey on his shoulders on the third stage.
