Product news: Sigma Sport adds: AURA 40 USB front light available from mid-December

13 December 2017 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: just under two weeks ago we reported on the new AURA 25 front light, now Sigma Sport is following up with the AURA 40 USB. The 40 LUX lamp should have a light range of up to 50 meters. The AURA 40 will be available as a set with the new USB rear light NUGGET II from mid-December, and from January the front light will also be available individually.

With the AURA 40 USB, the new front lighting series from Sigma Sport now includes two attractive models with StVZO approval for all bicycles. Like its "little sister", the AURA 40 has the two light modes Standard and Eco. With the 40 lux strong AURA 40 USB, the illuminance can be reduced to 20 lux in Eco mode, which should enable a lighting duration of up to seven hours. The two-stage battery/charging indicator in the control button provides information about the capacity of the battery and the state of charge. The integrated lithium-ion battery can be conveniently charged via the micro USB port, the cable for this is included. According to the manufacturer, the battery is fully recharged in a maximum of 3,5 hours. Practical: Charging is also possible during operation - for example with a power bank. Other features of the AURA 40 USB include side visibility, tool-free mounting and a 360° adjustable bracket. According to the information, the weight is 91 grams.

From mid-December, the AURA 40 USB will be available in a set with the new NUGGET II USB rear light for EUR 49,95. If you want to buy the front light individually, you have to wait until January. The retail price of the AURA 40 USB will be EUR 39,95.
