News: Due to the rapidly growing field of e-mobility, Messingschlager has created the new department "E-Mobility, Bike Sharing and OEM Services". With the strategic and personnel realignment, the Franconian importer would like to further expand its range of services in the e-sector.

According to the importer, the e-mobility sector has grown enormously in the last two years. Messingschlager reacts to the increased requirements with a long-term and strategic expansion of the electrical sector. The new “E-Mobility, Bike Sharing and OEM Services” department was set up on October 01st, and Kai Schultz has taken over the management. The industry expert with many years of experience was previously Head of International Sales at the parts importer. Kai Schultz, who reports directly to Managing Director Dennis Schömburg, has been supported by project manager Björn Brüggemann since November 01st. In cooperation with Brose, Messingschlager will be offering various premium e-bike kits for small and medium-sized OEMs in the coming year. For all kits, which essentially consist of a drive system and battery, the importer guarantees certification in accordance with EU rules and regulations. The Linka lock, which has already been successful on the market, also falls within the new department's area of responsibility. The intelligent and permanently installed bicycle lock interacts with the smartphone. Locked at the push of a button, the lock opens automatically when approaching. According to the company, other original equipment manufacturers and bike sharing companies will be equipping their bicycles with the innovative lock in 2018.
