Product news: SKS RIDEAIR: Refillable cartridge from SKS promises more comfort in the event of a breakdown

November 29, 2017 by Andreas Waldera

Product news: Flat tires are always annoying, but with the new SKS RIDEAIR cartridge, filling the tire is at least more convenient. The special thing about the new SKS cartridge is that it can be easily refilled at home with a floor pump. An eco-friendly and easy solution!

For environmental reasons alone, the new refillable SKS RIDEAIR cartridge is a must for all cyclists. However, filling the cartridge with a floor pump is not only good for the environment, but also for your wallet - and with maximum benefit. For optimal tire inflation, the SKS RIDEAIR cartridge must be filled up to 16 bar. For example, we recommend the SKS-RENNKOMPRESSOR floor pump, which can easily generate this high pressure. In the event of a puncture, the refillable cartridge fills the tire in seconds without pumping or effort. The practical air storage is also suitable for tubeless and e-bikes.

Thanks to the well thought-out design and 600 ml volume, the SKS RIDEAIR fits in all standard bottle holders and can therefore be easily carried on all tours. The cartridge is available in two versions: RIDEAIR and RIDEAIR LOCK. The LOCK variant has an integrated wire rope lock to protect against opportunistic theft. The weight of the cartridges is 450 grams or 520 grams. AV valve connection with DV/SV adapter ensures compatibility with all valve types. The adapters and the pull-out hose are included in the scope of delivery. The price is 59,99 euros for the SKS RIDEAIR and 69,99 euros for the LOCK version.
