Track cycling: The Germans can celebrate their first gold medal at the Track Cycling European Championships 2017 in Berlin. Miriam Welte won the women's 500 m time trial ahead of compatriot Pauline Sophie Grabosch and Russia's Daria Shmeleva. In a time of 33,321 seconds, she successfully left all her competitors behind.
