Market: The compact bike specialist i:SY – bicycle development from Hüllhorst in North Rhine-Westphalia is expanding its DrivE series with an XXL version. The new model is aimed specifically at particularly tall and heavy cyclists. The i:SY DrivE XXL with Bosch mid-motor will be available in three different versions.
The striking e-compact bike i:SY DrivE is making a big impact: With an XXL version, the special needs and requirements of very tall and heavy cyclists are to be met. The i:SY DrivE XXL picks up where the standard model ends: At 195 centimeters tall. This required a new, larger frame (50 cm compared to 46 cm) with a significantly longer seat tube and top tube. The steering column, which can be adjusted by 21 centimeters and rotated by 90 degrees, has also been newly developed. The permissible total weight of the XXL model has been increased by 40 kilograms to 180 kilograms compared to the standard model. When it comes to the drive, the compact bike specialist i:SY – Bicycle Development continues to rely on the mid-mounted motors from Bosch.
i:SY DrivE XXL: There are three different models to choose from
The i:SY DrivE XXL will be available in three different versions. The DrivE XXL N3.8 ZR for 3799,00 euros marks the entry into the world of extra-large e-compact bikes from Hüllhorst. Equipped with a Bosch Performance drive and NuVinci N380 gear hub with Gates CDX belt, the DrivE XXL N3.8 ZR is available in four colors. The manufactory special model DrivE XXL R – E14 comes with a Bosch Performance CX drive and an electric Rohloff E14 gear hub. The model is available in all 15 manufactory colors, the price is given by the manufacturer as 5.399,00 euros. If that's not enough power, you can also grab the DrivE Speed R XXL. The built-in Bosch Performance 45 drive offers pedal support up to 45 km/h. Equipped with a Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 gear hub, the purchase also costs EUR 5.399,00. All models are equipped with a powerful 500 Wh Bosch lithium-ion battery.
