From August 23rd to 25th there will be an opportunity to test the new top racing machine BMC teammachine SLR01 in Sölden in the run-up to the Öztaler Cycle Marathon. This is the only way to know for sure: Does the frame fit? How does the bike feel? Is it right for my application? Especially when you spend a lot of money to maybe fulfill a small dream, you don't want to buy a pig in a poke. While a test lap (or two?) in the nearest dealer's parking lot is well intentioned and better than no test seat at all, it is no substitute for a real ride.
This is where demo events come into play, as they are now offered by some manufacturers. BMC is particularly busy, where there are four opportunities to test ride different test bikes in August and September alone. One of them will take place in Sölden from August 23rd to 25th - right before the notorious Öztaler Cycle Marathon. Appropriately, the teammachine SLR01 Experience only has the top racing bike to ride. But that's not all: with Allesandro Ballan (ex-cyclist BMC), the Austrian road idol Bernhard Kohl and the multiple snowboard world champion Benny Karl, three prominent guides will lead you over the roads of the Öztal to get a real impression of the noble road racer.
The BMC teammachine SLR01 Experience 2017 takes place in cooperation with various partners, including Vittoria Tires, Assos, Winforce Sportnahrung and Compex. They will all also provide products for testing.
