The new Reign Enduro machines were developed in cooperation with the professionals of the Giant Factory Offroad Team.

For the 2018 season, Giant presents a new range of Reign enduro bikes. The world market leader in the field of cycling technology incorporated the input of the Giant Factory Offroad team riders into the development of the new models. The result is bikes for enduro racers who are both looking for adventure in the mountains and want to rock aggressive trails. At its core, the 2018 Reign models come with new technologies, updated Maestro suspension and revised geometry.
Giant Reign 2018 lineup includes two series
The heart of the new Giant models is still the proven Maestro rear triangle, which has been further optimized for the 2018 season. The engineers have incorporated some innovations in the 160 mm suspension that affect damper performance and handling. To improve small shock absorption and optimize pedaling efficiency, the Reign has been given a new trunnion mount that allows for longer shock travel and a lower leverage ratio. Another advantage of the trunnion mount is the greater depth of use for variable seat posts. Also new is the upper linkage lever made of Advanced Forged Composite material for higher frame rigidity and less weight at the same time.

The modified frame geometry promises more control without sacrificing agility or climbing efficiency. The head angle is an aggressive 65 degrees and the seat angle is 73 degrees. Optimized for 27.5" wheels, the new Giant Reign models should guarantee the rider the perfect balance between lightness, control, acceleration and agility. With the Reign Advanced series, Giant combines the main frame made of Advanced Composite material with a rear swingarm made of ALUXX SL aluminum, while the Reign series is made entirely of ALUXX SL aluminum. The Reign SX, which offers 10 millimeters more travel at the front, is ideal for particularly technical descents. All new Giant Reign models also have the Boost standard for more rigidity and more tire clearance.
