cycling: Team Corratec Blog – Final touches for the first half of the season

18 April 2017 by Florian Nowak

Team Corratec is one of the most successful amateur teams in cycling and would like to be at the forefront again this year. However, due to some illnesses and injuries in the preparation, the drivers were thrown back again and again. Nevertheless, it is slowly getting into the hot phase, with the Giro Sardegna making the start.

The season is just around the corner, some health problems over the winter are almost forgotten. And Team Corratec rider Bart Bury's collarbone, which was broken in February in a violent mass fall during the 2nd stage of the 2nd International Cycling Tour of North Cyprus, is healing fast. Bart is – as always – busy with his: to work, to his family and to his friends – and here a lot of healthy basic kilometers come together! The next Team Corratec assignment for him and his colleagues is the Tour of Sardinia from April 22nd to 28th, where Bart had already achieved a strong 3rd place overall. After that, the team goes in quick succession and one highlight follows the other.

Florian Nowak is a professional cyclist at the EuropeTour level and has competed in many international races.
