The temperatures are rising, the days are getting longer and the new season is about to start. In line with the start of the season, Specialized is presenting its new range of clothing for road bikes. Everything new is the motto: New materials, new fits and new colors should make the hours in the saddle even better.
All in all, Specialized presents three different lines in their summer collections. On the one hand the SL Pro series for racers, on the other hand the SL Expert models for ambitious cyclists and last but not least the RBX line, which is specially designed for recreational athletes and touring cyclists. Each model is also available in a special version for women. Those who wish can complete their outfit with the right accessories such as undershirts and socks.
Specialized SL PRO
The SL Pro line is aimed at ambitious racers and combines top material, aerodynamic design and a sporty fit. Thanks to the new Cold Fabric technology, you get a lower surface temperature and are well prepared even on hot days. The SL Pro jersey has a three-piece back pocket that offers ample storage space. Thanks to a waterproof SweatFree pocket with a zip on the back, smartphones also find an optimally protected place.
Seamlessly welded cuffs minimize friction and improve aerodynamics. There is also an SL Pro BIB to match the jersey. The construction of the carrier unit saves seams to reduce friction and optimize the fit. A central ventilation channel on the back prevents the accumulation of moisture. Anti-slip silicone applications on the inside of the leg ends ensure a comfortable fit and keep everything in place. The Specialized SL Pro BIB Shorts come with a special Body Geometry SL Pro seat pad, which is designed to reduce pressure on tissue and nerves in a light and minimalist way.
For the ladies, Specialized offers an extra version of the SL Pro line. In addition to a matching women's cut, a magnetic hook-up between the strap and the pants allows them to be quickly removed and put on. In addition, the BIB's are equipped with a special Womens SL Pro seat pad.
Specialized SL Expert
The SL Expert line is aimed at sporty cyclists who don't want to make any compromises during long hours in the saddle. With an aerodynamic, body-hugging cut and robust material, great wearing comfort and excellent moisture management are ensured. The Specialized SL Expert jersey also has a three-part back pocket including a waterproof sweat-free insert for your smartphone. Full-length front zip ensures optimal regulation of body temperature on steep climbs and cool descents.
The matching SL Expert BIB has a preformed, anatomical cut for the perfect fit in the riding position and is equipped with a special SL Expert seat pad.
Specialized RBX
For those who are not concerned with speed but rather with the challenge itself, Specialized offers just the right thing with the RBX line. The RBX Drirelease Merino Jersey uses unique technologies to cool and neutralize odors and quickly wick moisture away to the outside. The three-piece back pockets with sweat-free inserts are also used on the RBX jersey. The standard fit offers plenty of freedom of movement and an optimal, body-hugging fit. The RBX Pro BIB ensures breathability and optimal moisture transport thanks to the VaporRize material to stay in the saddle more comfortably and longer. In conjunction with the RBX Pro seat pad, which has generous gel padding, the RBX Pro BIB offers sufficient protection even on rough ground. The RBX line also has special fits and seat pads for women.
