Test: The bike looks very high quality. Even on details (like a steering stop that prevents over-revving the
front wheel prevented) was thought. The geometry wowed on the trail; Chassis and tires are convincing. Thanks to good control and traction, it picks up speed. So that the Trek comes to a standstill again quickly, the brakes lack the last bite. Riding unassisted is a bit sluggish, as is the dropper post, which is slow to respond. The special EX1 e-bike gears from Sram “only” have eight gears, but they are perfectly graded. So no mountain is too steep. The range of the Powerfly is in the usual Bosch CX range and is also sufficient for longer tours; especially uphill, the ranges of more powerful drives are significantly lower.
