cycling: Jens Voigt has started: 24-hour charity ride up Berlin's Teufelsberg

2 January 2017 by Michael Behringer

Jens Voigt has been in the saddle for hours. While some are still sleeping off their New Year's Eve intoxication or are already back at work, Jens Voigt gets back on the saddle. Berliners want to cycle up and down their local mountain, the Berlin Teufelsberg, at least 100 times. This would roughly correspond to the height of Mount Everest (8848 meters). All of this for a good cause, of course: the money donated is to go to the Australian Cancer Aid Organization "Tour de Cure" go. If you can't be there, you can follow Jens live on his exciting project via Twitter.

It's dark in Berlin! But we are still going strong! #EverestChallenge And don't forget to donate: https://t.co/m5vZQnXimR pic.twitter.com/JXKbXTzluJ
