Everyone: On May 28, 2017, the Ring Attack took place for the third time on the Formula 1 track of the Red Bull Ring at Spielberg in Styria, Austria. 2014 by the former ski ace and current TV presenter Armin Assinger, the race already enjoys a high reputation in the amateur scene. Registration starts today (December 1st) and we are also giving away three starting places.
With the racing bike on the iconic asphalt of the former Österreichring in Styria - that is the idea behind the "Ring Attack" race for everyone, which is taking place for the third time in 2017. The track is now called the Red Bull Ring and has been the venue for one of the most spectacular Formula 1 races of the season for several years. On May 28th, however, there will be no roaring of engines on the 4,3km circuit, instead the excited hum of numerous freewheels will be heard as the participants of the Ring Attack demonstrate their skills.
In addition to the original Ring Attack 25 variant, in which 25 laps of 4,3 km each - a total of 107,5 km - have to be mastered, there is also the shorter Ring Attack 10 and brand new Ring Attack 1, like last year it means: full throttle over just one lap, from the first to the last meter.
Registration for the third Ring Attack starts this morning. So if you feel like taking the Formula 1 racer under the wheels, you should register on the event page, or even better: take part in our competition. We are giving away a total of three starting places for the Ring Attack - which variant is ultimately driven is entirely up to the winners.
