Product news: Easton E100 – high-tech carbon handlebars in a classy guise

25 December 2016 by the editorial office

Market: The E100 name has always stood for the lightest and finest carbon products in Easton's portfolio, incorporating the latest developments and knowledge. The spearhead of what is currently possible, so to speak. A new addition to this high-tech series is the Easton E100 handlebar, which at less than 180g is one of the lightest racing handlebars currently available.

At the US manufacturer Easton, only the best of the best bears the E100 name: since this season, this has also included the Easton E100 racing handlebars, which, with an extremely low weight of less than 180g and a width of 400mm, are said to be one of the stiffest carbon handlebars currently available. With reach and drop, however, the focus is on proven dimensions and not on one or the other lightweight colleague, where these dimensions are kept as small as possible in favor of a low weight. In addition, the in-house MCD (Maximum Contact Drop) shape ensures that the palm of the hand has the largest possible contact area in the lower handlebar position.

The Easton E100 only comes in a matte UD carbon finish, which also suits it perfectly. The Easton E100 is available now at an RRP of €349,90
