Bike tour / Spectrum: Together with the German bike clothing manufacturer Biehler, the bike tour operator Prostyle is presenting the MTB Adventure Camp in South Africa next March. In the footsteps of the legendary Cape Epic stage race, wonderful flow trails, iconic views and an extravagant supporting program await you, which can not only shine from a culinary point of view.
Prostyle – actually best known for its cycle tours with narrow tires, is entering new territory together with Biehler in 2017 and is offering a tour for mountain bikers for the first time. From March 10th to 20th, 2017 the MTB Adventure Camp will take place in Cape Town – in the region of the notorious Cape Epic, perhaps the toughest mountain bike stage race in the world. Like the multiple German winner Karl Platt from Team Bulls, the participants take on the most beautiful trails in the region and the tours lead to the most beautiful places in the area such as Franschhoek or Stellenbosch. Of course, world-famous sights such as Cape Point, the southernmost point in South Africa, Table Mountain or the Cape Town waterfront should not be missing.
All participants also enjoy the professional service from Prostyle: Mechanics take care of the bikes every day, a service vehicle with spare parts, drinks and food is on the tours and the guides naturally know the best spots in the region.
In addition, the Prostyle team has come up with a great supporting program that also makes the time away from the bike a highlight. In addition to accommodation in the two 4-star hotels Ikhaya Safari Lodge and De Leeuwenhof Estate, a wine tasting, various sightseeing tours and, as a highlight on March 12, a start at the Cape Town Cycle Tour, the largest amateur race in the world, also await for mountain bikes is approved.
