MTB News: Johannes Fischbach has won the final of the Urban Downhill Series in Taxco, Mexico. With his second run, the 28-year-old from Upper Palatinate set the best time of the day in the streets of Taxco and took the win home with him.
The downhill spectacle took place for the fifth time in the small town of Taxco in northern Mexico. As the last and at the same time probably the most spectacular stop of the urban downhill racing series, it has attracted numerous visitors since it was first held, cheering on the riders in the narrow streets and on the steep stairs. Last weekend, the 28-year-old German Johannes Fischbach triumphed here with a sensational second run, putting the downhill celebrities in second place.
