Spectrum / cycle tour: The Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Club eV (ADFC) is conducting its cycle tour analysis for the 18th time this year together with its new partner Travelbike. The results should be a practical response to strengths and weaknesses in the field of cycle tourism and improve the offer and quality accordingly for the future. You can take part until January 15, 2017.
Cycle tourism, which was somewhat weak in the past, has experienced a real boom in the last two or three years. Not least because of the great popularity of e-bikes, which make a cycling holiday interesting for a wider range of people. It is therefore only logical that the ADFC cycling club is teaming up with the e-bike rental company Travelbike for its 18th cycle tour analysis in order to work together for more cycle tourism and better quality.

The survey will run until January 15, 2017, in which bike holidaymakers will be asked about their experiences of the last bike tour. However, it is not just a question of examining what is currently on offer, but also of ascertaining the needs and wishes of cycle tourists. The almost 50 questions therefore also include those asking about personal preferences when planning and carrying out the trips.
ADFC tourism officer Gabi Bangel is convinced of the effectiveness of the cycle tour analysis: “With the ADFC Travelbike cycle tour analysis, we are helping cycle tourists in Germany really get the top quality they expect. The cycle tour analysis has established itself well as a satisfaction index for cycle holidaymakers - and at the same time enables a look ahead at the trends of the coming season.”
As a special incentive for participation, there is also a ZEMO ZE8-R e-bike worth almost €3.000 to win. Participation is worth twice as much.
