Prostyle blog: While autumn is slowly but surely arriving in the local latitudes and the days are getting shorter, wetter and colder, the 22 participants of the Prostyle bike cruise on the MSC Fantasia on the Mediterranean coast are enjoying a tailor-made end to the season. In the logbook there are pictures and information directly from the cruise ship - and make you jealous.
Perfect timing, you could say: while the sky was still grey, the ground was wet and the temperatures were shivering when they arrived in Genoa last Sunday, the participants of the Prostyle bike cruise on the MSC Fantasia are now enjoying the best conditions with wonderful landscapes. Already at the first port in Cannes, France, the sun was greeting from above in the morning and the motivation was correspondingly high to jump straight onto the bike. With the tender boats we went ashore and a nice tour along the coast and over the Esterel offered the opportunity to get to know each other a little and to prepare our legs for the next few days.
On the second day we went to the cycling paradise of Palma de Mallorca, where we went from the port via Arenal up the Randa. The 90km were tough and were certainly the first big highlight. After the excursions there is still enough time and opportunity to enjoy the islands or to really have a good time on the floating luxury hotel. On Wednesday they headed for the Spanish mainland and, starting from Barcelona, a mountain tour with the Tibidabo awaited, from whose summit there was a fantastic view of the Spanish coastal city. After a small tour of the city with the Sagrada Familia and La Rambla, we went back to the ship.
Yesterday we went to Ajaccio in Corsica, where an easy 30km lap offered the opportunity to relax a little and gather strength for the last stops of the cruise, namely to Naples and to Vesuvius and finally to the Tuscany.
