Market: The Albstadt-based textile specialist Gonso is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. With a limited retro line, the Swabians can look back on 30 years of innovative strength in the manufacture of bicycle clothing. The special collection, which has the look of particularly distinctive cycling lines, includes a total of seven products for racing cyclists and mountain bikers.
Gonso 80's Mountain Bike Edition
For the 80s mountain bike edition, the product developers and designers at Gonso had to dig deep into the patterns of the early years. The look of the MTB collection is based on the manufacturer's early off-road clothing. High-quality, modern functional fabrics should guarantee the driver high wearing comfort and an optimal fit. The Jensen semi-cut jersey with a stand-up collar comes in the trendy colors of the 80s. Ladies can choose the Julia bike shorts, for men Gonso has the Johann model. The trousers are made of water and stain-resistant stretch material and have the Flatfit Pro seat pad. The jersey is available for EUR 79,95 and the shorts cost EUR 99,95 each. For pleasure-oriented leisure cyclists, Gonso also has the Frey knitted jersey made of new wool / polyacrylic available at a price of 99,95 euros.
1990's Road Edition
Although the retro classics of the 1990s Road Edition are designed to be old-school, only the most modern materials are used in their manufacture. The “miracle yarn” Dunova from Bayer that was used in the past is just as rarely used today as the deerskin seat pad. Gonso gave the two aerodynamically cut pants of the 90s Road Edition the DRYUP seat pad, which scores with high wearing comfort even on medium and long distances. As with the MTB Edition, there is one version for men and one for women. The women's model Maike without straps costs 89,95 euros, as does the men's model Max with straps. The Minder jersey has a three-part back pocket and is also available at a price of 89,95 euros.
