General: Thomas Genon wins the Fise in Montpellier

10 May 2016 by Andrew Waldera

Lifestyle: Canyon Factory Freeride team rider Thomas Genon presented himself as extremely windproof at the Fise in Montpellier. With wind forces that were more inviting for surfing or kiting, the Belgian won gold on the oversized slopestyle course in southern France.

Already in qualifying, Thomas Genon impressed with an impressive top performance that secured him first place in the final. The Belgian pulled off the toughest tricks at dizzying heights over the weekend, including 360 backflips, trucks and 360 tabletops. Combined with clean style and extreme precision, the Belgian left the other top drivers behind in the ranking.
