Product news: Velomotion Advent Calendar #15: Answer stone handles and beer mug

15 December 2015 by the editorial office

Answer_Stein[1]

Advent calendar: Every year millions of people around the world reach for a beer mug and almost every biker looks forward to a refreshing, cold beer after a sweaty ride. So why not bring together what already seems inseparable?

The result of this connection are the handles christened "Stein" (English for beer mug) by ANSWER, a manufacturer based in the US state of Wisconsin, which - thanks to the tradition of German emigrants - even has its own Oktoberfest in addition to numerous breweries. So it should also be clear what ANSWER used as inspiration for the design of the stone handles.

Apart from the unusual profiling of the rubber, which is based on the beer mug eyes, ANSWER does not experiment: The 143 millimeter wide and 29 millimeter thick grips are fixed to the handlebars with two clamping rings made of anodised aluminium. A rubber compound with two different degrees of hardness ensures that comfort is not compromised on long rides or rough trails.

According to the manufacturer, the ANSWER stone grips weigh 118 grams (pair) and are available in five different color combinations for €24,90 (RRP).

Velomotion is giving away five pairs of Stein handles including a matching beer mug today. Much luck!
