cycling: German Cycling Cup 2016 only with 10 races

8 December 2015 by Andrew Waldera

gcc1

Cycling / Everyone: Germany's largest racing series for everyone, the German Cycling Cup, is shrinking - at least as far as the venues are concerned. Only ten organizers will award points for the series in the coming year, so the GCC will once again lose an important venue.

While the racing series for everyone still had 2014 venues in 14, there were only eleven in the past season. For 2016, the organizer in Bochum has also announced that there will be no everyone's race in the coming season. This means that there are only ten races left for the award of points within the framework of the GCC.

After the postponement of the “Rund um Köln” race, Göttingen will mark the start of the German Cycling Cup 24 on April 2016th with the “Tour d'Energie”. The final will take place on October 03rd in Münster as part of the “Sparkassen Münsterland Giro”. .
