cycling: Cycling news: Team CULT Energy – Stölting signs Ciolek and will be riding on ROSE bikes from 2016

November 5, 2015 by the editorial team

cool

Cycling: The ProContinental Team CULT Energy - Stölting Group announced two big changes for the next season at a press conference in the ROSE Biketown in Bocholt today. On the one hand, Gerald Ciolek will strengthen the second division player in the coming season and the team will also be on ROSE bikes in 2016.

It was already apparent, but since this morning it's official: Gerald Ciolek is moving from MTN-Qhubeka (now Dimension Data) to the German-Danish second division CULT Energy - Stölting. The 2013 Milan-Sanremo winner has signed a two-year contract until 2017 and will certainly be a great asset to the team with his experience.

As a second innovation, the team announced that they would be riding ROSE bikes in the coming season. The direct mailer from Bocholt had already worked closely with the team before - so this cooperation will be even closer from now on. Ciolek also has good memories of ROSE: in 2005 he became German road champion on a bike from the manufacturer. Until then, the riders of the ProContinental Team had been on Stevens Hamburg bikes.
