Lifestyle: Prostyle and the Roadgirls Cycling Club are organizing a series of road bike workshops especially for women in various cities in Germany.
At public races, bike marathons and other events, the proportion of women riding road bikes is increasing. Everyman teams are also long past the “quota woman” stage. But without sounding chauvinistic, many women unfortunately still have a split relationship with their sports equipment when it comes to technology. As much fun as it is to be on the road on a road bike, without the right care and maintenance, the fun can quickly come to an early end.
The cycle tour and event organizer pro style has recognized this problem and, together with the Roadgirls Cycling Club, offers a basic workshop specially tailored to women. This stretches over two full days of a weekend and is offered on several dates and locations. The course program includes all the basic knowledge that will help every racing cyclist to have even more fun on a perfectly maintained racing bike and to sit safely on it in the future!
Whether you have a flat tire or a broken chain, riding in a group or overcoming obstacles safely: After the Basic road bike workshop, you should have acquired all the skills and knowledge to be able to handle the road bike in any situation and without outside help.
The price for a workshop weekend is 299 euros. Members of the Roadgirls Facebook group only pay 269 euros. For this it suffices to set up the group Facebook with "like" to like.
The next dates (Sat & Sun 9 a.m. to 17 p.m.) are:
- September 26-27, Schmitten near Frankfurt/M.
- October 10-11, Norderstedt near Hamburg
- October 17-18, Hürth near Cologne
