Cycling: The first round of the new Cannondale Enduro Tour took place last weekend. The Megavalanche expert Remy Absalon clinched his first win of the season.

In addition to his outstanding skills as a cyclist, the 2013 EWS winner, Jerome Clementz, is making his debut as an enduro organizer this year. Together with his partner Pauline Dieffenthaler, who also successfully participates in enduro races, he founded the Cannondale Enduro Tour.

The series is ridden blind in the original style of enduro. This means that the drivers have neither a track inspection nor training. Conditions that pose a great challenge to every driver, whether professional or amateur. In Dabo, there were six stages to master and Remy Absalon to keep in check. The Megavalanche expert is known for his gifted skills on the bike and once again showed his good form.

After 33 kilometers and 1500 meters of descent he had a solid 20 seconds advantage and got the first win of the series. He was followed by Ludovic Oget and Elitt Trabac. Fabian Scholz from the German Focus Trail Team was the best German and mixed up the French field with sixth place. For the ladies, Claire Hassenfratz.
