With the nomination for this year's Tour de France, the South African MTN-Qhubeka team has achieved a major goal. At the Mallorca Challenge, everyone prepared together for the new season and presented the new team bikes. The team will ride on Cervelo frames fitted with components from Enve, 3T, Rotor, KMC, Selle Italia, Ceramic Speed, Elite, Lizard Skins and Schwalbe.
The bike that will likely rack up the most kilometers is the Cervelo S5. After the first few rides, the riders were thrilled with the frame's stiffness and even managed to secure their first victory of the season in Mallorca. "The Cervélo S5 is the best bike I've ever ridden. It's incredibly stiff and just feels fast ," said Edvald Boasson Hagen.
