Cycling: At the last World Cup of the season in Cali, three BDR starters will make their debut. In addition to 18-year-old Doreen Heinze, Maximilian Dörnbach and Domenic Weinstein can look forward to their World Cup premiere.

Doreen Heinze will start in the short-term category. In 2014, the strong sprinter won gold at both the World Track Championships and the European Track Championships in the junior team sprint with Emma Hinze. In November, the Erfurt native was also awarded the Pegasos Prize for Young Athlete of the Year. Two men will also be taking part in a Track World Cup in Cali for the first time. The 19-year-old former junior world champion Maximilian Dörnbach starts in the team sprint with Erik Balzer and Maximilian Levy. Due to injury, Domenic Weinstein, who became U23 European Champion in two-man team driving with Leon Rohde, is also coming to his first World Cup race in a four-man.
