Cycling: The Swiss bike manufacturer BMC is repositioning itself for the upcoming enduro season and has a real top-class team in the BMC Factory trail crew. for the fight for the EWS crown, in the program.
With Francois Bailly-Maitre, BMC has had one of the strongest enduro riders in the world on board for the past two years. Last year he came second in the Enduro World Series in La Thuile and won the Trans-Provence. For the coming season, the Swiss are completely repositioned and have put three extremely promising talents at the side of the fast Frenchman.
Lorraine Truong from Switzerland is new to the team. Last year she was still on the road as a privateer and had to take care of everything in addition to racing. Nevertheless, she mastered her way into the top 10 and finished a good sixth place in Whistler. In 2015 she will contest the Enduro World Series together with Bailly-Maitre and also take part in selected downhill events such as the World Cup in Lenzerheide.
Florian Golay from Switzerland and Kerstin Koegler from Germany have extended their contract with BMC and will take part in all major European enduro races as part of the BMC Factory Trail Crew. Both placed on the podium at the Shimano Epic 2014, with Golay even celebrating a win.
This year, the team will be riding the BMC Trailfox TF01, which, unlike many other enduro bikes, uses 29-inch wheels. The team is supported by Shimano, Giro, 3T, Fox Racing Shox, IXS, Fizik, Motorex, Elite, Pearl Izumi and Continental.
