Market: The Sigma Sport SPORTSTER, which was only presented at the Eurobike in September, is now commercially available. With StVZO approval without restrictions, the front light can be operated on any bicycle in Germany.
The small, compact lamp is therefore ideal for daily use on public roads. The illumination occurs in four vision zones: near, far, side and core area. With 30 LUX and a headlight range of 50 meters, the SPORTSTER not only ensures ideal visibility, but also offers a long burn time thanks to the lithium-ion battery firmly integrated in the housing. So that the performance of the battery does not go into the basement even at low temperatures, the SPORTSTER front light has been given temperature-independent Li-ion cells with a high energy density. Depending on the two available brightness modes, the lamp can be operated for up to seven hours before it has to be connected to the mains again. The battery indicator provides precise information about the remaining burn time at all times.
The SPORTSTER, which weighs only 96 grams, can be easily charged anywhere using the USB connection socket. According to the manufacturer, the front light is fully charged again after just 4 hours. The front light can be installed without tools using the proven Sigma click bracket. With the slide function, the lamp can be detached from the base in just a few simple steps. The SPORTSTER front light is available in black and white at a price of 49,95 euros. The extended K-Set for EUR 74,95 also includes the MONO RL rear light including charger and cable.
