Cycling: Cannondale Factory Racing has signed Manuel Fumic, Marco Fontana and Anton Cooper for two more years. Together with newcomer Henrique Avancini they form the squad of the XC team.

Cannondale announced yesterday that they have signed Manuel Fumic, Marco Fontana and Anton Cooper for two more years. Fontana has been riding American bikes for six years and has won Olympic medals, among other things. Like Manuel Fumic, he is happy about the further cooperation: “I can't imagine driving for another team. The last two years have had a lot of ups and downs, but I was able to end the year in great shape. The vibe in the team is great and I'm looking forward to the next two years.”

Fumic's big focus is the 2016 games in Rio. The greatest thing for him would be to be able to start there with his teammates and fight for the podium. “We will work hard to be on the podium consistently. There are great projects coming up”, according to Fumic.
