Cycling: Jerome Clementz, winner of the inaugural Enduro World Series, has signed a new three-year contract with Cannondale. So the fast Frenchman will continue to ride the Jekyll and fight for the title of Enduro World Champion.
“I enjoy racing and riding my bike so much that it was clear that I wanted to do the same program for years to come”, according to Clementz. “When it came to my future in racing, Cannondale was the first option. We share the same ideas, so the decision was easy for us.”
Cannondale and Clementz have been working together for many years and the company is pleased to have the 2013 World Champion on board for another three years. "We're thrilled to continue working with Jerome," said Scott Rittschof, Cannondale Manager. “He is an icon of enduro sport and we value his dedication and knowledge very much. His knowledge and feedback is very valuable for us and so we are of course looking forward to the next three years with him.”
Clementz will continue to ride the Jekyll and Trigger as well as continue to develop the Cannondale Overmountain line. “I celebrated my greatest successes with Cannondale, was allowed to travel the world with my bike and had a great time. The team is like family to me. The big goal is of course another Enduro World Series title. It will not be an easy task, but we will do everything necessary to achieve this goal."
