Market: Nobody really expected that. Yesterday, Fox Factory Holding Corp. announced that it had bought the two Canadian brands Race Face and Easton. For the time being, nothing will change in the separate product portfolios - the company headquarters will also remain untouched for the time being. But this may change in the future. The purchase price was the equivalent of around 24 million euros.
As a result of this coup, the product range of the Americans expands to include components such as cranks, stems, handlebars and wheels. No wonder Fox CEO Larry Enterline is delighted: “We are very happy with the acquisition of Race Face/Easton and look forward to welcoming them to the Fox family. The deal demonstrates our clear concept of expanding our product range into obvious and related areas to improve sales and profits over the long term.”
