Market: The Spanish manufacturer BH Bikes has further slimmed down its already lightweight G6 frame for the 2015 season. According to the manufacturer, the new G6 Pro in size M only weighs 750 grams.
By using HCIM technology (Hollow Core Internal Molding) with braided carbon fiber, the engineers were able to gain a further 80 grams from the frame. The G6 Pro frame is thus the lightest aero frame that BH Bikes has ever developed. Thanks to innovative detailed solutions, the monocoque frame made of 100% carbon fiber has been further optimized in terms of aerodynamics, stability and rigidity. The G6 Pro has an oversized bottom bracket shell with a width of 86,5 mm for maximum lateral rigidity. The direct mount assembly of the front and rear wheel brakes ensures better aerodynamic values in addition to higher braking performance. Mounting the rear brake on the lower stays also allowed the seat stays to be modified. The attachment and positioning of the front derailleur have also been changed.
The G6 Pro is available in seven different versions. From ambitious hobby riders to competitive cyclists, BH Bikes has the right G6 Pro racer for every type of rider. The G6 Pro 105 with Shimano 105 equipment is already available at a price of 2.999 euros. With the G6 Pro Ultegra Di2 for 4.799,90 you can already switch gears electronically. For the top model with the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 and Lightweight Obermayer wheels, 11.999 euros have to be invested. On the racers with electronic shifting, the battery for the electronics group is located in the seat post.
