Spectrum: Although the company bike has been legally and fiscally equivalent to the company car for some time now (we reported), the bicycle is becoming more and more attractive as a means of transport and companies such as Eurorad offer corresponding leasing models, only a few companies actually rely on the company bike. A cooperation between Eurorad and ISPO Munich is intended to support employees who are enthusiastic about bicycles in convincing their employers of the advantages of a company bike.
The idea behind the cooperation is as simple as it is effective: Ideas on the subject of company bikes are collected via the active ISPO community - what should such a leasing model offer employees and employers? How can both sides benefit from this? After the community has collected ideas and formulated wishes, the cooperation partner Eurorad will work on their feasibility.
The entire process will take place in three time-limited phases.
03.11.2014 – 24.11.2014 (already running!)
Phase 1: What do employees want from a bike leasing offer?
26.11.2014 – 08.12.14
Phase 2: How could one convince the employer of the advantages of bicycle leasing?
07.01.2015 – 19.01.15
Phase 3: What can Eurorad do to motivate companies to offer a leasing model?
We think this project is a great opportunity that we just have to take advantage of. So: For those who are interested in a bicycle leasing model but still have to overcome the "employer hurdle", they should participate in the ISPO Community in collecting ideas:
