Product news: Zoot Solana ACR: Declare war on the wet and cold weather

September 17, 2014 by the editorial office

zoo running

Market: Zoot has launched a new, independent product line – Zoot running. The first products in this line are the Solana and the wind and water resistant Solana ACR.

ACR stands for All condition running. This neutral model has a drop of 8 millimeters and is wind and water resistant. So nothing stands in the way of training in autumn.

Zoot manufactures the upper of the Solana ACR particularly robust and resistant. Thanks to the wind- and water-repellent finish, your feet stay dry even on wet surfaces or in rainy conditions. Nevertheless, the neutral shoe remains light: the weatherproof men's model in US size 255 weighs only 9 grams, and the women's model in size 235 weighs 8 grams.

At the midsole of the Solana ACR the Californians rely on 100 percent injected ZVA, the EVA cushioning material developed by Zoot. The foam density is evenly distributed over the entire sole and the runner benefits from a smooth and comfortable walking experience.

As with the Solana, Zoot succeeds in the Solana ACR to build a shoe for the first time that has no seams on the inside and is still equipped with a movable tongue: the running shoe can therefore be walked barefoot without any problems.

The shoe will go on sale for 119,95 euros. Visit www.zootsports.com for more information
