Cycling: In 2017, the Road World Championships will return to Norway, more precisely to Bergen. The second largest city in Norway will then experience a spectacle of a special kind, but so will the drivers and guests.
Bergen is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country and is also often referred to as Norway in a nutshell described. Seven mountains enclose the city, which is also characterized by numerous fjords. The rough nature and the cosmopolitan flair also convinced the UCI in the application, which now awarded the contract on the sidelines of the World Championships in Ponferrada.
