Cycling: The fourth stage of the Perskindol Swiss Epic was overshadowed by the fall of Swiss rider Florian Vogel (Scott-Odlo), who had to retire from the race afterwards. His teammate Nino Schurter got out with him.
Jochen Käß and Daniel Geismayr from the Centurion-Vaude team secured their day's victory, taking over the overall lead. Second place went to Mathias Flückiger and Lukas Buchli (Stöckli) ahead of Ralph Näf and Lukas Flückiger (BMC).
