Ferrand Prevot rode a very strong XC World Cup this year but was also able to shine on the road. Victories in the World Cup races in Albstadt and Nove Mesto complement her successes in the French championships in the disciplines of road, time trial, cyclocross and MTB, as well as second place in the Giro Rosa.
“I want to ride all XC World Cups in the coming year”, says the Frenchwoman, who will continue to race on the road. "I think it's important to keep a good balance."
With regard to her new focus, Ferrand Prevot referred to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. In London in 2012 she finished seventh.
